According to the website of the Ordre de médecins vétérinaires du Quebec (OMVQ)  an investigation of the veterinary practices at the pound Berger Blanc is being conducted. They acknowledge that the investigation that they are doing will raise public interest and they assure the public  that the investigation will be conducted with professionalism while respecting the confidentiality of the steps taken. However, due to a large volume of inquiries received at their office, they can not respond individually.

They ask for the public to contact the office of the OMVQ only if people have any specific facts that could relate directly to the investigation they are conducting. .
