Emma Stacey

Emma Stacey is a cat-lady-turned-bird-person and wildlife advocate who has been working with animals since 2008. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Animal Health and Disease from McGill University and has completed additional studies in Biomedical Studies at the University of Guelph. For the last ten years, she has worked with a variety of animals in veterinary clinics, animal shelters, laboratories, and more recently as a rehabber at a wildlife rehabilitation centre in Nova Scotia.
Emma was born in Ontario but has lived in Montreal since 2010. She currently lives with her rescue cat (Alphonse), rescue boyfriend, and a balcony full of bird feeders.
Through this blog, she hopes to increase compassion for and knowledge about wildlife species in order to create a better environment for us all.
